Jahrhunderts über Holzdeckeln mit reicher Rollenprägung, (ohne die Schließen, etwas beschabt, Rücken und Rückendeckel mit kleineren Fehlstellen).

Sehr schöner Sammelband mit zwei ersten Ausgaben. – GW 3886 und 3882; Hain 2827 und Hain/Cop. 2834; Goff 349 und 346; BSB B-300 und B-298; Graesse I, 343. – Durchgehend rubriziert und mit rot eingemalten Lombarden. – Druck in 54 Zeilen. – Die hier vorliegenden Werke gelten als die Hauptwerke des Franziskaners und italienischen Heiligen Bernardinus Senensis (1380-1444), der mit seinen Predigten und Abhandlungen zum Teil heftiger Kritik ausgesetzt war. – Titel und erstes Textblatt mit einem handschriftlichen Eintrag und Schenkungsvermerk des Leonhardus Rughalben, Pfarrer in Schäding und Plattling (Bayern), datiert von 1529. Rughalben schenkte das Buch dem Kloster Aspach im Landkreis Passau für die Tischlesung. “…anno Domini 1529. Valet multum pro legentibus ad mensam.” – Teilweise mit leichtem Wasserrand am Kopfsteg, die ersten Blatt etwas stärker betroffen, Titel des Quadragesimales mit Resten eines Blattweisers, letztes Blatt mit alt hinterlegter Fehlstelle (etwas Wortverlust). // Pigskin of the 16th century over wooden boards, richly blind tooled, (without the clasps, slightly worn, spine and back cover with smaller damages). Bound with: Bernadinus Senensis, Quadragesimale de christiana religione. (Basel, Joh.Amerbach, not after 1490). 254 unn. ll. Very nice made up volume with two first editions. – GW 3886 und 3882; Hain 2827 und Hain/Cop. 2834; Goff 349 und 346; BSB B-300 und B-298; Graesse I, 343. – Continuously rubricated and red lombards. – Printing in 54 lines. – These both publications are the main works of the Italian Franciscan and Sainted Bernardinus Senensis (1380-1444), who was due to his sermons confronted with vigorous critic. – Title page and first text leaf with a handwritten notation and a donation note by Leonhardus Rughalben, pastor in Schäding und Plattling (Bavaria), dated in 1529. Rughalben donated the book for the monastry Aspach in the district Passau to be used for lessons during the meal. “…anno Domini 1529. Valet multum pro legentibus ad mensam.” – Partly waterstained at the bottom, first leaves stronger, title page of the “Quadragesimales” with rests of a marker, last leaf with old restored lack (with slight loss of text).
