Wohl vierte von Apian bearbeitete Ausgabe. – Diese Ausgabe nicht bei Houzeau-L.; vgl. Zinner 1364. – Hauptwerk des Mathematikers und Astronomen Georg von Peu(e)rbach (1423-1461), das erstmals von seinem Schüler Regiomontanus im Jahre 1472 herausgegeben wurde und zahlreiche Auflagen erlebte. – Es wurde zum Standardlehrbuch der Planetentheorie an allen europäischen Universitäten und konnte sich sogar bis nach Kopernikus behaupten. – Ränder braunfleckig, sonst sehr gutes Exemplar. // With 48 woodcuts and woodcut-bookmark. Modern calf. Presumably 4th edition, arranged by Apian. This edition can’t be found in Houzeau-L.; cf. Zinner 1364. Main work of the mathematician and astronomer Georg von Peu(e)rbach (1423-1461). First publisher was his follower Regiomontanus in 1472, followed by numerous editions. It became the standard work of planetary theory at all European universities and asserted itself even to times after Kopernikus. Margins browned, besides very fine copy.
